The lone star club
Who: Kaede, Mika
What: Social Link Go!
When: Friday, April 16th. The end of an astronomy club meeting.
Kaede did not really have much to do on a Friday afternoon, beyond go study or perhaps play a few video games. Maybe go for a walk, but there wasn't much to do in Suginami. The park looked like it might be a nice spot to relax...
...but she had something that actually needed doing: getting to meet the fellow members of this whole thing she'd been dragged into. While Kaede was not generally a fan of approaching strangers with some Hey, let's be friends! speech, but if it had to happen eventually, she'd rather it be done on her terms.
So it was that, after a brief stay in the library, she showed up outside of the astronomy club room a minute just as the meeting was scheduled to end. From outside, however, there was a distinct lack of the expected noises: no students packing up, no chairs scraping on the floor, no animated chatter. It left her wondering if the club had gone home early.
Staring at a door wouldn't answer that question, though, so rather than waiting outside until people began filing out (and then asking which of them, exactly, was Mika Kabamori), she went ahead, knocked twice on the club door, and--only mildly surprised by it being unlocked--went ahead and let herself in.

"And yeah, everyone was... fine." She wasn't sure if she'd really been okay, and one of the others (Kaede still didn't have a name to go with that avatar) hadn't really seemed that way either. But, it's not like she was going to admit to being one of the two who actually seemed to take things poorly.
"...So." Her gaze drifted across the room's decor. "...The place looks nice." Ugh. Small talk.

Mika gave a sheepish smile, putting one hand on the back of her head. "Thanks," she said. "Uh, you can probably tell, I haven't had much to do here recently except organize the club room..."

"Yeah, it..." She frowned. "It's very... tidy." And finally gave Mika half-confused, half-dubious, and whole understated look. "Where are the other members? I came after the scheduled time was over--so I wouldn't interrupt--but..."
