Making Friends
Who: Kori and Azusa.
What: Azusa meets up with Kori in the library for a group project.
When: Thursday, April 15th, after class.
Where: School library.
It was an old library, with plenty of dusty old books that gave a strange, antiquated feel. Where some high schools in Tokyo had just decided to go all digital, Matsubayashi had kept its old ways for a long time. Even as the school's new upgrades, paid for by the Jupiter Corporation were still being installed, including new VR stations and top of the line computers, most of the library was holding out, and refused to change, much like the whole neighborhood that Matsubayashi high school lived.
The library was big enough though, that Azusa made sure to send a quick text message to Kori, telling her where to meet her, in a table near the side entrance. It was a spot picked out by Azusa specifically so she could overhear conversations..not that she'd mention that to Kori.
They had been given a small group assignment already, thanks to an overbearing teacher who seemingly was happy being the teacher that everyone despised. History was a strong subject though for Azusa, and she was a little happy that she got assigned to work with Kori, someone she hoped to be able to talk more about Personas and the Midnight World with.

The assignment of Azusa was a bit of a shock but it was something she would have to get used to at some point. She wasn't about to argue over something so silly and just went with it. Besides..no need to attract unneeded attention, as much as she wanted to try and get out of it. When she got the text of the location to meet up, she sent back a simple response in return, being polite at the very least.
On her way over, Kori had put her headphones in to try and calm herself so she would not overly worry. History wasn't her strongest subject so she'd have to focus as best she could..and even though she had a feeling it wouldn't be the only thing being discussed in the long run. So once she got inside, she took a quick look around and spotted the table in question, pulling her headphones out and speaking softly in greeting.
"Not a bad spot you have found here."

It was perfect that they were able to work together for their project, a good reason to be together alone with Kori. It seemed from what she saw in class, that it wasn't very easy to get the other girl to talk, so Azusa was going to do everything she could to get her to open up.
"I'm glad you like it!" As silly as it was, she was paid a compliment, and Azusa simply smiled in response, moving her tablet and bag over to give Kori room to sit.
"What are you listening to?" The first thing she could think of to create a rapport with the other girl was to see what she liked.

Kori just nodded and sat down, putting her bag and phone to the side and pulling out a notebook and pencil for the time being. Pulling out her laptop could wait until they had a full idea of what to do.
"Hmm? Oh just a little bit of pop. Something ubeat and happy to keep things moving."
Not her full reason but still, a better one to say outloud.

"I don't listen to too much myself, but I like to turn on Roundify radio station when I'm reading or playing games on Sefira. Mostly just whatever is popular.."
